What I hear on calls

You do the work. You also have to sell it. So selling happens in the cracks, at 9:47 p.m. after the kids are down. Or it doesn’t happen at all.

  • “What do I even say to him? What do I tell him?”

An agency owner, twenty years in business
  • “I’m a little embarrassed. My last message to him was April 24th. That was four months ago.”

    A B2B services founder
  • “I feel like I’m bugging them. Like I’m a pest.”

    A consultant
  • “It’s not really a time thing. It’s the mental load.”

How I sold €2.94M of my own services without a sales team.

What I do every week to find clients, follow up, and close deals on my own.

I’ve been on my own since 2010, and I’ve closed every deal myself. €2.94M, no sales team.

For six years I ran a HubSpot partner agency. I ran sales trainings myself, and my team trained our clients’ sales teams. Since 2023 I’ve coached forty founders, one-on-one.

I recorded my sales calls, the wins and the rejections, and turned what worked into a system I use every morning.

Manifesto

The team you don’t have.

Nobody sells alone. Except you.

What I saw for six years

I spent six years installing complex CRMs in startups and big companies. If there’s one thing I took away from it, it’s that the CRM never closed a single deal. The team did.

What made people sell was Marc telling the new hire: “Call that guy Friday after 4. He’s always in a good mood. You’ll close him.”

It was Karim’s follow-up email that the whole floor ended up copying.

It was Sophie’s comeback to “it’s too expensive,” the one everybody ended up stealing.

I figured out fast that a CRM doesn’t work because the software works. It works when the team wins.

A sales team doesn’t sell with salespeople. It sells with the memory of its salespeople. That has a name: collective intelligence. It’s the most powerful thing I saw in well-run companies.

This isn’t just a sales thing. Xerox figured it out thirty years ago: its repair techs cracked the toughest problems over breakfast, swapping war stories, not by reading the manual.

What you left behind

Twenty years ago, going out on your own was a gamble. Today, for a mom or a dad, it’s the most obvious way out, especially now that AI lets one person do what used to take three. More and more of you are making the leap. Nobody has built anything for you.

You left too. On your own, or close to it. For the freedom. To be home by 5 for bath time. You don’t want to go back. Neither do I.

Except you took your craft with you. Not the team.

No more Marc by the coffee machine. No more Karim forwarding you his emails.

The scene you know

It’s 9:47 p.m. The kids are finally asleep. You open ChatGPT for the follow-up you’ve been putting off for three days. It spits out a clean email. Too long. Too polite. Too generic. You know it won’t land. But you don’t know what to write instead, either.

Three of my clients said the exact same thing to me: “I use ChatGPT for sales, but it’s never good.”

It’s never good because it has everyone’s theory, and nobody’s experience. And certainly not yours.

Tools built by people who don’t have your life

The people who build sales tools, the people who sell sales courses, the people on LinkedIn telling you to make fifty calls before noon, all have one thing in common: they don’t live your life. No kids to pick up at 4. Twenty free hours a day. If they sleep three hours, they just shift their schedule, and nobody else pays for it.

You can’t. And they don’t even realize it.

You’ve got forty minutes between school pickup and your next meeting. You need to know who to call and what to say. Right now. Next month, the holidays, back-to-school: it all comes down to those forty minutes.

Three worlds that never talk to each other

CRMs are still a Rolodex with a screen. Dumb as ever. They store records, you fill them in, and they never tell you what to do.

AI is still a chatbot: brilliant, forgetful, zero experience.

Sales coaching is still a sugar rush: two days in a conference room, an hour of hype, some slides, and by Monday you’re alone at your desk again.

And you’re stuck in the middle, duct-taping all three together. And not getting what you deserve.

What I believe

I believe selling is a team sport, even when you’re alone.

I believe forty minutes well spent beat four hours of prospecting.

I believe a tool should tell you what to do, not ask you to fill in boxes.

I believe the experience of one person who’s sold what you sell beats everyone’s theory.

I believe being home by 5 doesn’t mean you lack ambition.

What I built

My mission fits in one sentence: give you that team. The one you lost when you left, or the one you never had.

What I built rolls all three into one move: you open it, and it tells you what to say to close your deal. And to have a good month.

When I ask it how to close a deal, it tells me: “Ask him this. Send it at this time. He’ll answer.” That was my dream.

Us, the solos

We’re not salespeople. We’re solos. You and me, we have a craft. We have families. We have contracts to sign, and to deliver on. Somewhere between bath time and a client meeting, we chose this freedom. And sometimes we pay for it.

Not anymore.

You sell on your own. But with a team behind you.
